My journey with Strathcona Orthodontics has been a real treasure. My first appointment I was assessed to see what my options were. We decided to go ahead with Invisalign. Once you discuss payment and run through the treatment plan you're booked for... your first appointment. There you get pictures like your a movie star but they're of your teeth. I had a huge space in my front 2 teeth and I couldn't handle smiling anymore. The process from there has been easy peasy. I use the dental monitoring app which allows me to take pictures of my progress at home and then those photos get sent to the team to be looked over. If all looks good, you move onto the next set, if not, you wear them for an additional 2-3 days. It's important to keep them in for 20-22 hours otherwise you won't see any progress. Everytime I had to go in to make some minor adjustments, the team of Dr. Aziz was quick and efficient. Shout out to Michelle who literally was dealing with me and what sounded like 3 other people even though they're 1 person. I had to get buttons added and the procedure is quick and easy. This time I needed elastics to pull a tooth down. I have never had braces or needed elastics like this so Michelle explained them to me and let me try it in a couple different ways to see what I was comfortable with. Dr. Aziz came in as well to go over the treatment and just wish me a happy holiday, she truly is the sweetest. I am in the final stretch of a year and a half of invisalign but I wouldn't go back, this has helped me smile a lot more regularly and it's because of their had work and efforts. All of the work personnel are always so happy, bright, bubbly, and cheerful. When I went there for my first... time I was a bit nervous, but they welcomed me in right away. They are always hands on and ready to do their job. I have a tooth that is crooked, tilted, and upside down. Strathcona Orthodontics has done wonders with my teeth and I am so happy with them. They have put me in Invisalign, but also braces in one third of my mouth. These people know what they are doing!!! UPDATE: I am now all done with braces!! My orthodontic journey went so well with Dr.Aziz and team. I needed to get jaw surgery and my pre op orthodontics were done so well that I had minimal time in the post op orthodontics. This is a result of both... my surgeon and Dr.Aziz working together, but I could not be happier. I maintain the original 5 star review I wrote and strongly recommend going with Strathcona Orthodontics for all your orthodontic needs.Everyone at this clinic is kind, welcoming, and gentle with their approach to the orthodontic experience. Dr. Aziz formulates a plan, gives you the price upfront and executes with the help of her team. I've... almost completed 4 years of braces & surgeries. Extremely happy with the results.They will try and work with you on payment plans if needed. They divided my costs, with no interest, over 36 months. A tough financial situation was met with a 3 month grace period with the payments added on the back end.The clinic is always immaculate. With the amount of time ive spent there over the years ive never seen any part of the facilty in a questionable state.
